November 13

More of the same today. Been motoring since yesterday morning. We lowered the mainsail this morning as it stopped being a help and started slatting about as the wind died from 8k to about 3k and started shifting to the NE and then NNE and then ENE. At 4pm it is now back to the SE at 5k and we are still motoring at about 6k on a heading of 168M, about 8 degrees to West of our course to put is in a (hopefully) better position when the wind turns to the SW as it is supposed to, soon. I am about to check in with Russel Radio to find out what the afternoon WX data is showing.

It is now 3am local time and I am about to connect to the email gateway to send/recv email. We seem have picked up a NW wind of about 10k and we are at 29 36S. We are sailing at 4k with geoa alone with the wind from directly astern.
