February 13

It is now 8am on Tuesday and we are about 35nm out of Zihautenajo making 6.5k over ground motor-sailing. The seas are somewhat confused with several swells running in different directions, the primary swell being from the SE at about 4ft. The skies are partly cloudy and the sea temperature is a whopping 83f! We motor-sailed through an uneventful night keeping company with Indara and Pipe Dream the whole time. Shipping was heavy with several vessels on radar at any one time, some coming as close as 2 miles. We expect to arrive in Zihaut by 2pm.

We arrived at Zihautenajo at 2:15pm and anchored stern anchor first then bow (most other boats had stern anchors out) and then re-set the bow anchor twice before we were satisfied with our position. We anchored right next to friends from Seattle on Rainsong (Jason and Tamara).
