Not a great day today, though it started out pretty nice. This evening we went to dinner in town and when we came back to the beach our outboard motor was gone. Stolen as it were. We'll have to try to buy a new one, probably not till we get back to Puerto Vallarta as they are hard to come by. I know they have a shop in PV which will have one. It was my own fault. I failed to lock the outboard to the boat ­ of course I have a cable and padlock for that purpose. I suppose we have been lulled into a false sense of security by all the nice people we have encountered here. Esta vida (that's life).
