For the last few weeks we've been having a harder and harder time starting the generator. As we have had many problem with adequate fuel delivery I assumed it was (another) dead fuel pump. I replaced the fuel pump on Monday with my last spare and the starting problems persisted. The symptoms pointed to a failed glow plug and this morning I replaced it and the genset started right up the first try. Case closed.
