First day of May and we are leaving tomorrow! We've gotten a lot done today, and I even had time to zip over to the glider field and have one more go at catching the wave, today being one of those rare days when the conditions for an air-wave are just right. Primarily this means Westerly winds which also typify the precise conditions desired for heading North to the Tropics!

Many boats have left in the last day or two. Listening to Russel Radio on the SSB I heard boats checking in and reporting weather conditions. We will get a few last minute things done in the AM and leave on the slack tide at 11:30am. We are very, very, excited.
