We left Mana Island in Fiji around noon. We decided we had enough and needed to start heading back to Vuda Point Marina. I can not believe half the cruising season is over, but I am really looking forward to cruising Vanuatu and returning to Tauranga to see all our friends. In addition we are going to cruise slowly down the coast keeping -yes - a sharp eye out for ship traffic. We have to do some prep work to leave the boat for 3 weeks. Cleaning in and out, pickle the water maker, clean our zodiac and fold it up, etc, etc.

Tonight we are at Musket Cove relaxing and preparing to BBQ at the 3 dollar Bar.

I am excited to be going back to the states and look forward to seeing family again. It will be a bit mad and exhausting running around. It is funny to think I am hanging out on the beach here in Fiji and in a week I will be on Cape Cod on a beach - half the world away! Jonah is very excited to see his cousins and there will be lots of fun I am sure. I guess there will be some beach hanging out and much eating and talking. It will be nice.
