Life in California is just wonderful. Well if you live on a boat, go to the beach and don’t have to work. The Valley has been steaming at around 105 F but the beach and Marina stay around 85F.

We have been working on our huge “TO DO” list which seems to grow as opposed to shrink.

Must Do (Pri 1)
    Genset (won't start)
    Untwist mainsheet
    Spinnaker sock (repack)
    Spreader boots (mizzen)
    Swing main helm compass
    Install stove cover storage rack
    Re-mount radar reflector in "rain catch" position
    More reefer insulation!
    Install cup holders : Aft cabin, Nav desk

    Finish Purchases on Equipment List
    Wrap handrail w/leather
    Miscellaneous line hangers (dock lines)
    Install shower rods & curtains
    Repair crack in Bowsprit
    Sand and varnish wheel
    Install Floor Hatch Holddown system
    Rewire WEFAX to sub-panel breaker switch
    Wire A/B antenna switch (WEFAX & SSB)
    Re-wire radar - nmea bearings from KVH not A/P
    Install new portlight holdup chains/hooks
    Label hoses, elec. lines
    Label running rigging/mast exits/rope clutches

I finished the touchups on the wood. I ended up doing the cockpit wood entirely. I am so glad we use Ceatol instead of varnish – not as pretty but a breeze to apply. I seem to be endlessly cleaning and the boat never seems to be tidy – that kid will make a million messes in 5 minutes!
