June 15

The wind varied through the night from 12-15k sometime and 15-18k other times. Our course and speed remained constant at 190M and 6-6.5k over ground. Some clouds began to be visible at about 4am.

At 6am the sun is up and we are 13nm from Misima. Our bearing is now 220M and we are sailing a course of 218M, staying just a little bit upwind of the course. Skies are mostly cloudy with about 75-80% cloud cover. Wind is 12-15k from the ESE and we are sailing at about 6k over the ground. We expect to arrive at our waypoint just off the Eastern tip of Misima at about 8:20am. From there we must cover an additional 3.25 miles to reach the harbor entrance. We should be anchored in the harbor by 9:15.

At 9:00am we are 1.5 miles from the entrance to Bwagoia Harbor, Misima. Wins is 10-15k from the East and seas are moderate with a sloppy swell from the SE. Skies are clearing and it looks like it will be a lovely day.
