This morning we waited for a brief rain shower to stop then motored
out of Vila harbor to Mele Island just 5nm outside the harbor. We left
at about 10:30am and by 11:45 we were anchored at Mele.
There are about 5 or 6 boats anchored here behind a tiny little island
that is connected to shore by a low sandbar. The weather is hot and
mostly sunny and we are going swimming and perhaps snorkeling now.
