September 27

We left Asau (on the island of Savai'i) this afternoon at around 4:30pm and are finally on our way to Wallis, the main island of the colony "Wallis and Fortuna". The wind is blowing 20-25k from the NE and seas are moderate at 6-8ft. We expect to sail all day tomorrow and arrive at Wallis the following morning (Saturday) just after dawn. However, Wallis keeps time with Fiji and is therefore one day ahead, making it Sunday when we arrive (what happens to Saturday - we never get it? I'll look for it when I have time.)

By night we had 30-35k and the seas built. The crew was seasick and the night passes slowly.
