We left Scarborough early this morning at about 5:15am and headed South on the last leg of our journey to the city of Brisbane . The total distance is about 33 miles to the Dockside marina right in downtown Brisbane . Conditions are fine with a light wind of 5-10k from the NNE. Seas are very calm with a slight swell from the NE. The shoal waters of Moreton Bay make for very calm seas in all but the highest winds when, apparently, they really stack up.  

We entered the mouth of the Brisbane River at about 7:45am and reached the marina at precisely 9:30am where we docked in our slip without incident. We plan to wash up and relax for an hour or two then head into the city on the ferry which has a stop right at the marina!
