January 28
We departed Chamela at appx. 8:45am and motored SouthWesterly for about an hour when the engine died.
We ran the tank dry again. No reason, I just forgot to check the guage and didn't realize the tank was
low. Of course, it would not bleed! This is exactly what happened last month when we were heading for
Puerto Vallarta with Danny and Amanda aboard. We could not get the engine to bleed and had to be towed in.
This time, we sailed instead and actually had a fabulous days sailing! After several hours of letting the
engine cool while sailing we finally restarted the engine successfully after bleeding again. We shut down
the engine and sailed for Tenecitita and arrived by 5pm. The wind was from the NW and started at 6k and by
4pm it blowing about 20.
